About the Role:
North Point Senior Homecare is looking for compassionate and dedicated PCAs, NAs, HHAs, and CNAs to join our growing team in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed per care plan
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to support client independence
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Document care activities accurately and maintain client confidentiality
Requirements:
- Current certification or experience as a PCA, NA, HHA, or CNA in Virginia
- Genuine compassion for elderly and disabled individuals
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client homes in Virginia Beach
- Strong communication skills and a professional, trustworthy demeanor
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous home care or senior care experience preferred
- Must pass background check and meet state compliance requirements
